Voice-Quality and Worst100-CallMOS-Score report not showing

Hi We observed in our setup Voice-Quality and Worst100-CallMOS-Score report not showing and am new to prognosis. can anyone help me how its working is it polling for it will create using CDR log files. please advise.

Hi Nagaraja,

thanks for your post. Based on your information it is hard to understand the problem. So maybe some questions to help us:

- What do you monitor with Prognosis? Cisco, Skype, Avaya?
- what is the URL of your dashboard?
- what error did you get? or just a report without data?

Its a Cisco CUCM

we configued the same from just client not URL. its just showing without data and we did below changes on prognosis since its prognosis servers sending many authentic failure events to monitoring system for voice gateway and we are not added and not monitoring voice gateway so that based on IR support advice we did below changes.

1. Open C:\Prognosis\Server\Configuration\irMHTB-FG193.ini in a notepad.

2. Search for “EnableH323VGStatus=1” in the file, and modify to “EnableH323VGStatus=0”
e.g
;-----------------------------------------------
; SNMP Gatherer settings
;-----------------------------------------------
[SNMP]
..
….
; Control H323 and VG Gateway Status
EnableH323VGStatus=1  change this to 0

3. Restart the MHTB-FG193 collector.

So for what you described do you need any help anymore? Or is that solved by support?

If not where do you go and have issues?

We have issue for report after changing "EnableH323VGStatus=1  change this to 0". after changing this we are not able to see any data in report for voice quality. so is it affected to report for above change.? or its just a co-incident when we ask support team they just told may be CDR not sending these data. is there any way to check if CDR files contain these data or how we can go forward.

Hi Nagaraja,

so I don't know why this change should affect the CDR collection which provides the information for your VQ reports but lets start to check some things to determine the cause of this.

- check if CDRs are pushed by CUCM to Prognosis can you check if the SFTP folder on the Prognosis server (usually C:\Prognosis\Server\Configuration\SFTP\home\PrognosisCDR\CDRData\ is updated by its modification timestamp (you will not find files in there
- check if the live dashboards for Voice Quality do show data but only the reports not (then is is maybe an issue with the database not running)
- check different intervals for the reports you bring up (Last 60 minutes, Last Week, Last Month)
- please post the URL of the report that does not work

Yes i have already check the CDR files are flowing to prognosis. even live dashboard also empty. attached the dashboard.VQ_report.png
