Reports Central- Voice Quality

Quick question - the Voice Qaulity report...

- Is this actually tracking by call or by stream? The top graph shows MOS by % of calls but I didn't think that the product could match CDR vs RTP stream?

- In the bottom graph, it shows VQ distribution by MOS - is the MOS scoring by average for the overal stream duration or is it the MOS minimum?

Thanks

Re: Reports Central- Voice Quality

Hello Jonathan_Mc,

I agree, using "Calls" instead of "RTCP Streams" is not entirely accurate. Unfortunately, some Prognosis users have asked: "What are RTCP Streams". This type of question is likely why the term "Calls" is used.

The Voice Quality Distribution by MOS (Call Volume) report uses average MOS values. Average MOS is used for all Web UI reports as far as I know.

Thank you,

Scott Baldwin

Re: Reports Central- Voice Quality

Hello Jonathan_Mc,

The Avaya Aura Voice Quality web report is based completely on RTCP streams. Prognosis has built in Drilldowns to cross link the RTCP data to CDR data in other Displays/Dashboards, but the Avaya Aura Voice Quality web report only looks at the RTCP data.

The bottom graph shows the average Voice Stream MOS values.

Thank you,
Scott Baldwin

Re: Reports Central- Voice Quality

Thaks scott - the confusing thing then is the fact that the reports says its 'calls' and not RTCP/streams
