Re: How to MGCP Gateways in CISCODEV Configuration

Hi Venkatesh,

Your Prognosis should show MGCP gateways under CUCM menu -> Gateways. So your Prognosis is working as designed.

The PSTN Gateway section used for standalone gateways (not under CUCM control) and SIP gateways. It is explained at online help Home > Prognosis for Unified Communications > Network Devices > Introduction

Cisco® PSTN (standalone) Gateways
That is, those Gateways that are not used in conjunction with Cisco Unified Communications Manager or where Gateways are added as SIP trunks

In the future releases we will show SIP gateways under the CUCM menu -> Gateways as well.

I hope this clarifies.

Regards,

Alex

Hi Alex,

Hope your doing.

Here the MGCP Gateways are showing down status(red color). We have verified in CUCM the gateways are showing up and registred to call manager as configured.

could you help us how can we bring this gateways to bring up status in prognosis(to make green color).

Thanks,

Venkatesh
