Cisco Unified Sip Proxy support in 11.7

I noticed Cisco Unified Sip Proxy will be supported out of box in version 11.7.  We currently utilize the custom CUSP solution in Prognosis which is based on retrieving data via CLI login/show command execution.  Curious if the out of box solution in 11.7 will be utilizing SNMP via the CISCO-USP-MIB MIB which was introduced a little while back or if it will still be primarily CLI command execution based?

Thanks!

Re: Cisco Unified Sip Proxy support in 11.7

Hello Timon,

11.7 will utilize both SNMP gatherer and CLI Gatherer. SNMP Data is collected every 60 seconds and CLI data will be every 60 or 70 seconds.

For CUSP 9.1.x and 10.x, an SNMP v2 agent has been added. SNMP v1 and v3 are not supported. To answer your question, we only collect data from CISCO-USP-MIB, the CISCO-PROCESS-MIB did not provide any useful data for certain customers.

Hopefully, that answers your question!  If you have any further inquiries, feel free to reach out to support!
