Hello Team,
We got a request for installing a prognosis for our new client and they have below requirement.
They have a de-centralized Cisco UC environment running the Cisco Business Edition 6000 SMALL on the 2921 ISR. This carries with it some nuances such as ESXi 5.5 running on a NAM/Blade within the Router, reduced horsepower, etc.
The issue/concern here is, each of their locations is siloed. So we would need to deploy Prognosis at each location. Further, the client is concerned with the impact of the CUCM/CUC System services from the Prognosis polling. Should Prognosis prove too ‘heavy’.
So, multiple questions here:
Prognosis –
Can anyone help us with detailed explanations for the above quires/requirements from my client?
Thanks,
Venkatesh
Hello Venkatesh,
I just did some checking on this and it looks like Cisco Business Edition 6000 and 7000 run on CUCM/CER/Expressway, etc., so Prognosis will support it natively.
Hope this answers that question.
There are configurable settings to how frequently Prognosis can query the devices to reduce any load that Prognosis polling may be putting on a server.
Hello Scot,
This a call manager running on a blade within the 2921 ISR router that is running ESXi 6.0, and installed CUCM and CUC.
Could you please answer for below questions ASAP
Thanks,
Venkatesh
