Prognosis Duplicate Connection Found error in wvlog, txt / Windows Event logs - Application log
These errors are occurring because of the entries in the NETWORK configuration where more than one MANAGED-NODES entries points to a single Prognosis server (duplicate IP address, or one is IP address and the other is a hostname of the same server), or multicast discovery is enabled in addition to a MANAGED-NODES entry finding the same server. This effectively results in IRNETRTR trying to establish connections to the same node twice and giving an error msg about "duplicate connection" to these nodes.
The multicast discovery is set by the MULT-IF-ADDR parameter and the managed nodes configuration is defined by the TCPIP-ADDR entries. Note that TCPIP-ADDR tokens have been replaced by the MANAGED-NODES parameter in recent versions of Prognosis. TCPIP-ADDR is available for backward compatibility reasons.
Please refer to the Online Help for more details on using the MANAGED-NODES parameter.
To resolve the errors, it will be necessary to either disable multicast discovery or the managed nodes section of the NETWORK configuration. However, it should be noted that these errors are informational only, and should not result in any misbehaviour of the product. They can be safely ignored.
