Patch install fails executing prodbash.pl on the Windows platform.
When attempting to install a Windows patch, it may fail with a popup containing the following error (screen shot attached):
Path of the complete patch installation log file:
'D:\Prognosis\Install.Log'
Last few lines of the log file:
Error: Script prodbash.pl in patch C:\DOCUME~1\scottc\LOCALS~1\Temp\WZSE1.TMP\PATCHES\z801m014-win.gz failed
Error: Installation of patch z801m014 (in file C:\DOCUME~1\scottc\LOCALS~1\Temp\WZSE1.TMP\PATCHES\z801m014-win.gz) failed, attempting rollback
Rollback succeeded
Problem is caused by 2 possible items:
1. The 'Read Only' file attribute being set on the License File or the file is blocked. To prevent this error, check the File Properties of the all 4 License Files in Windows Explorer. Remove the Read-Only Attribute and use the Unblock button if present.
2. The catalog file has been updated although the patch failed. Remove all lines containing prodbash.pl, irprdbsh.exe and irprdbsh.dbg from the "catalog" file in the Prognosis\Patches Directory. Note: Windows 2012 will possibly append ".txt" to the end of the "catalog" file resulting in 2 "catalog" files. Rename the original and save the new "catalog" file without an extension.
