We are running Prognosis 10.5 and are getting many error 45 on the MEAS#### files. The size of the MESA#### files created by prognosis never exceed 100 MB even if the MEAS-SIZE parameter in the PROGNOSIS configuration is set to greater to 100 MB (currently set to 500). Is this a known problem ? Is there a fix available for version 10.5 ? Does this problem exist in the latest prognosis version ?
Thanks
Yes. MEAS-SIZE is hard coded to have a maximum value of 100MB unfortunately.
Is the MEAS-SIZE still limited to 100 MB in the lastest prognosis release ?
Yes it is still 100MB in the current release 11.5, 11.6 and 11.7.
Hi
On the last exchange of the this subject (Jun 6th 2019) it was said that
Yes it is still 100MB in the current release 11.5 and in the next release 11.6. A larger limit is locked in into the roadmap for the Prognosis 11.7 release which is currently due for release in December this year.
That answer seem to have been removed from the forum and replaced with
Yes it is still 100MB in the current release 11.5, 11.6 and 11.7.
Release 11.7 is now available. Can someone confirm that in 11.7 the maximum size of meas-size is still 100 MB or that it can be larger. We were waiting for that correction to upgrade prognosis.
Thanks
I did some checking on this question. I checked the online help and I did not see anyting in the "What's New" section. Looking at the documentation for 11.7, it still shows a default of 50 MB but no max size. I will have to do some checking on that here and let you know for sure.
Thanks
Scot
I just checked and got confirmation that the MEAS file size limit is still at 100. The increase did not make it into 11.7. No ETA on when it will be put into a future version. Since that was the main reason for looking into upgrade to 11.7 you may want to hold off until it is.
Hello ,
any idea what is the max limit number for ver 12 above ?
thank you,
hendra
Hi Hendra,
The max limit is still 100MB currently.
