Re: How do we manage MEASURE files that are produced by Prognosis?

First Prognosis will create a couple of MEASURE files, two for the STCPUR collector, DCOLMA16 and CPUCOL16. These measure files are very small in size, 14 primary extents
by 14 secondary extents, with 16 maxextents. That is because the data that Prognosis needs is coming from a memory segement in each CPU.

The DISC collector will produce DCOLMA## and pair it with a DCOLMB## set of files for measurements of DISCOPEN, DISCFILE, or any disk or file related entity etc.
This is either by any request, Database Collection, Display, Threshold, or Analyst Rule or a display that is asking for disc related metrics.
There are other measure related files called MEAS####, and again it will pair up a set of measure files for optimization, one reads the file and the other writes
to the file. These are used for measure entities that are not disc or file related.
