Is it invasive on NonStop adding over 20 TCP-SNET within the COMM configuration in 5 mins polls?

We want to monitor the details of all the NonStop interfaces. Configuring over 20 interface can cause an invasive or high usage of resources of the NonStop?

Hi Jerry

We're not aware of any high resource impact related issues recently in recent Prognosis versions 11.2 and later. We do recommend 11.2 or later to take advantage of the latest improvements to the collector STCOMM.

However this is also subject to environment like the power of the CPU subsystem. I recommend monitoring the CPU busy before and after adding the TCP-SNETs. Also, lowering the STCOMM process priority is another way to make sure that there is no impact on higher priority processes.
