Re: Disk collection interval is too short error message pops up in wvlog

When start Prognosis DISC static collection, messages similar to below pop up in wvlog:

“7/2/2013 0:17 **** STDC 6019 1,1399 Disk collection interval is too short. DISC Tue Jul 02nd 2013 00:23:00”

This indicates the disk collection interval set in the DISC configuration is too short.

To resolve the issue, you will need to increase the collection interval depending on the number of disks being monitored.

For example, in Prognosis GUI’s Node navigator, expand the Configuration of the Nonstop node, then right click on “DISC” and select Properties, then check the setting of INTERVAL, increase it to a higher value, eg, from 15 minutes to 30 minutes, and then click "Start" to restart the configuration.

For more information about DISC configuration, please refer to the online help under “Home > System Guide > Configuration Syntax > DISC Configuration”.
