Dear Team,
I have created a dashboard with 2 hours of interval and it contains multiple windows. Its is like out of box dashboard "POS Dashboard - Base24" with 2 hours on interval.
This dashboard will collect data from nonstop after 2 hours and data would be huge or it might impact on system utilization if we are fetching 2 hours of data.
Can we have 1 DB collector which will collect data after each 10-15 mins of interval and then point this collector to dashboard and show summary of 2 hours. Is it possible?
Kindly help on this query or suggest any workaround for the same.
Thanks,
tushR
1) On the Windows managing node create a autosumm job to summarize the data used by the display (or create a specific DB for it using the "C" button in IRGUI.).
Important: One of the purposes of the Windows Managing node is to offload the processing off the monitoring node (Nonstop in this case).
2) Store the the data on a windows drive ( D:\PROG_DB\ is recommended and not in the default \Prognosis\Server\Configuration\ directory as it creates a mess and puts upgrades at risk by doing so)
3) Schedule the report in the WebUI Reports Scheduler to run at the interval you want with the retention you want.
