Receiving "Failed to submit changes, refer to log file for detailed error message" error when attempting to onboard a new UCCE instance via WebUI. What log file and location is this written to?
Thanks
Hello @Timon_Dennis,
The log will be in 1 of 3 places:
If Prognosis 11.9 is being used, then patch 4 or (preferably) patch 5 needs to be installed for the Prognosis Web UI to add UCCE devices correctly. the patch should be installed on both the Managing Node and then on the Monitoring Node.
Thank you,
Scott Baldwin
Thanks for the info Scott. Found what I needed in the PrognosisAdminLog.txt file. We are running 11.9 patch 3 so odds are we're running up against some of the UCCE issues addressed in patch 4 and 5. Will get those installed in our lower test environment to see if that clears up the errors we're experiencing trying to onboard a new UCCE 12.5 instance.
Hello @Timon_Dennis,
Thank you for sharing the PrognosisAdminLog.txt file was the one needed. We have seen a few customers with this same error when using Prognosis Platform 11.9 patches 1-3, but patch 4 and 5 have resolved this issue in each instance.
Please let us know if you see the same error after adding patch 4 or 5 for 11.9. and if you have any other questions.
Thank you,
Scott Baldwin
