12.0 p4 fix

107. Dispatch manager does not support email addresses as message destination

Where and how do you set your email address directly?

This fix allows adding email addresses into a threshold or analyst alert message destination directly.

Put the email address into the Profile Name field.

*Make sure to precede the "@" with a "\" as in the below example image.

With this fix in place and using a direct email address:

  • Profile name not needed in DISPMAN config.
  • Group name not needed in DISPMAN config,
  • SMTP server IP address still needed in DISPMAN config in the Email - DefaultEmailService as illustrated in the below image of DISPMAN config:
