Here's some steps to troubleshoot

  1. Definitely check the wvlog.txt
    1. As highlighted above, it kind of tells you that there's a "postgres password" issue
  2. Try rebooting the server(s) because the customer could of gotten a new license and that can cause this error
    1. Also rebooting could fix a cert issue with the webpage which can cause this error

Resolution:

Saw this error in wvlog: Internal program error - Database Exception: Message: fe_sendauth: no password supplied Connection Role: MASTER Connection Type: undefined Connection String: Driver={prognosispostgresql
So when I went into the Passwords Configuration on the Thick Client, saw both customer were missing these entries in his PASSWORD config.

PQL: prognosis
PQL: postgres
PQL: replication
ADD PASSWORD("PQL: prognosis", "prognosis"
ADD PASSWORD("PQL: postgres", "postgres"
ADD PASSWORD("PQL: replication", "replication"

Once we added those and gave the username and passwords, he was able to login to the web no problem.

The entries should look like this:password.png

Gotchas:

When putting those entries above into the Password config, I'd recommend for both the usernames and passwords, type them out in notepad or something like that, then copy the text into the username and password fields to ensure no additional issues.

**NOTE**

Don't know the cause. Could be maybe when both the Web UI and Windows Client are both used to add devices, but loosing these 3 logins without upgrade/patch is pretty rare.
