Resolving Patch install issues.

How to resolve some patch installation errors.


Sometimes patching the Prognosis application can be a frustrating experience because the patch install process can fail.  One common scenario is the “” error





To fix that error to allow you to continue patching, is to edit the \Prognosis\Patches\catalog file.

Remove the line underlined.



Save and close the catalog file.  Also another additional step that can resolve any patch install errors would be to delete the \Prognosis\Patches\ddelete file.  This is the “delayed delete file” and has come up in some patching issues.



A new file called ddelete will be created the next patch install attempt.


The above steps have helped resolve some patch install problems and may help if you experience anything like the above
