Information regarding Prognosis version 12.1

Hi Team,

we are planning to upgrade our Prognosis version from 11.9 to 12.1.

can anyone let me know if there are any fixes related to collabration in 12.1 when compared to 11.9

Whatare the cons in 11.9 related to collabration?

Thanks,

Kashyap.

Re: Information regarding Prognosis version 12.1

Hi @kashyap,

There are about 129 fixes in the patches for Prognosis 12.0 and about 40 fixes in patch 1 for Prognosis 12.1. All of the fixes in the patches are included the next release at time of patch release. New found issues after a Prognosis version release are typically ported to the next patch for fully supported Prognosis versions.

The patch ReadMe file links are:
• 11.9 patch 8: 11.9 Patch 8 ReadMe file
• 12.0 patch 4: 12.0 Patch 4 ReadMe file
• 12.1 patch 1: 12.0 Patch 1 ReadMe file

The disadvantages of staying on Prognosis 11.9 include:
• New versions of vendor products will likely not be fully support or may not be able to monitor a new version at all.
• Over time, patches for old versions are released less and less, especially for non-critical issues.
• Prognosis 11.9 the level of support decreases over time for older versions and the Prognosis version will eventually be end of life and unsupportable.
