Hello, I am new to troubleshooting Prognosis.
We stoped receving emails from DISPMAN, I noticed the service was down, but then I am getting the error message: "Faied to start DISPMAN configuration" when trying to start it.
Is there a log I can look into it and see the reason for it?
If you look in the event view log (the !? box in the upper left corner) you can see some further detail as to why potentially. Based on the circumstances I would first check prognosis\configuration\wvlog.txt as that will likely tell you the root cause.
The error you are references of failed to start usually occurs because you have entered an invalid configuration, as some things are not checked until you click start and other things are checked on entry... but being it stopped while running the WVLOG is the place to go.
Did this start around some other change or a restart of the system, or did it seems to randomly occur?

It started after a license install.
There isn't really much information at the WVlog just the one below:

Would it be better call Tech Support?
Dispman is controlled via license code but its part of many licenses.. so I would check to see if your license codes are exactly the same, if they are not your account manager can get it correct.. but if you are not getting any information in the event viewer nor the WVLOG contacting support may be the best bet.

If you emails all of a sudent stopped sending and it was at least starting there would be something like an "IRCLEAN DISPMAN" you could also try but not sure that would do you any good in your situation but at this point it wouldn't hurt.. you will just lose all queued emails and history..
