Error: IP address already in use

When adding a cuc cluster, the error pops up:

IP address <IP Address> already in use by node <node name>!

 

This keeps customer from being able to successfully add a new cluster.

After checking for any trace of it and still can't find it then try the below steps to fix:
  1. Zip prognosis folders named, “Static Config Definitions” & “Static Configs” found in <drive>\prognosis\server\configuration directory
  2. Open all documents within the folders into Notepad++
  3. Search for the offending IP Address in all open documents
  4. Replace all with a bogus unused IP Address. Save and replace original folders with your edited one. Restart Prognosis.
