Hello
I'm trying to make a new display, but I need to use a personal key with the fields B24NODE and INTERCHG, but in my prognosis client configuration this key does not exist
The question is, how can I create my personal keys in the "Enable keys for B24POS.cnf" file?
Hi @OscarGutierrez,
The section titled BASE24 Configuration Syntax describes this in more detail, but based on your request, it looks like you may only need to add the following to your cofiguration:
ENABLE KEY (Base24PosTransactionSummary, B24NODE+INTERCHG )
Then you should be able to add the key to the associate name:
Hopefully this helps!

Scott Clement
What is meaning of this
ENABLE KEY (Base24PosTransactionSummary, B24NODE+INTERCHG ) and how it will work in prognosis to capture data?
Hi Scott
Thanks for the information, but I have a new problem, because after that I put the Key that I need, but they don't return information to me, the new question to go?
I need to add some new configuration in Prognosis to see the information with the new Key?
Once you add the
Enable Key ( Base24PosTransactionSummary, B24NODE+INTERCHG )
to the BASE24 static config and start it, Prognosis will start collecting data under this new key.
To validate it is collecting data under the new key, you can create a display
If you are connecting from a management node, you need to specify the node where you updated the BASE24 static config, so that is pulls data from that node. The attached picture shows I selected all NonStopX nodes, this allowed me to verify that Prognosis was collecting data on the different NonStop nodes. Once verified that data is being collected, you can specify the nodes you want data from. I also attached a display create with with Prognosis 12.0.
Hi @Swapnil-Auti,
You can find more information on Key Fields in the product guide here.
To explain this briefly, defining key fields helps reduce the processing overhead associated with the collection of transaction data. To request data from a key field, you simply specify the key field as an associate name in the display document.
If you need an example of this, please check out the example provided by @Leon_Arens_FNNI (thanks Leon!).
I hope this helps answer your questions!
Regards,
Scott Clement
