Database Error Not connected to PostgreSQL. MASTER Server: localhost:5432

Hello Team,

Can anyone help us on this issue.When we are logging into the prognosis we are getting below error. We are able to logging in thick client.

Can anyone let us know what does this error means and what is the casue of the error and how can we resolve this issue.

Hello Venkatesh,

The error indicates Prognosis is not able to connect to the local PostgreSQL instance.

Corrective steps:

1. Open the Services Console on the server with the Web UI error.
2. Locate the "postgresql-x64-9.6" service in the list.
   • Start the "postgresql-x64-9.6" service if it is not running.
   • If the "postgresql-x64-9.6" service is running, restart it.
3. Close the web browser, reopen, and try to login again.

If the above process doesn't resolve the issue, then it is appropriate to open a Support case.
