Hi there.
Just wondering if anyone has come across or know what this error is about - or can point me to a manual/link which might contain help for it.
We are seeing on 4 Linux physical servers(RHEL7) running Prognosis 11.5 the error below which shows up once a day, around the same time (although, it keeps advancing: a few days at 10h00, for ex., then 10h05..a few days later, 10h10,and so on..).
Note that: 1. iradicol doesn't seem to use much MEM (around 14 MB) and 2. irmulticol process is very active, constantly consuming 1 full CPU as soon as Prognosis starts up (not sure if these 2 are related).
Example of the daily error:
2021-05-25 08:55:02 F-05292051 fscrunp 00506 iradicol 11.5.0 007510 - Data file processing error. Invalid number; fscripts/portopen.sh; 203; FILEDESC
Thank you!
Hi Francisco,
There appears to be two issues here.
For the iradicol error, are you using PORTOPEN record? You can check this in PVIEWS record output. If yes please try to run the script portopen.sh from Linux prompt:
$ ./portopen.sh
If it returns error then it explains why the extractor process (iradicol) logs that error.
For the irmulticol high CPU issue, we will need to review irfax from the Linux server to identify which collection/data request is using high CPU. Please log a support case with the irfax for our investigation.
Thank you.
Thank you very much David.
Will check how to find/consult "PVIEWS record output" to verify PORTOPEN status.
As for your suggestion in regards "irmulticol", thank you! Will log a case next time I run into this issue. Thank you.
Regards,
Francisco
