Column sort in Web GUI?

How do you get columns to sort in WebGUI as they do in the thick client?

Hello Matthew,

The inability to sort by column values in the Web UI while viewing the data is a current product limitation. I know this feature has been requested, but it has not yet been added to Prognosis as of version 11.5.

The only way to set a sort by column in the Web UI is to update its source Display in the Windows Client and publish it the Display to the web.

Thanks for the info Scott.  Is there a request number for this enhancement?  We would like to track it.  We would like to steer our users toward using the Web UI but this is one of the limitations that makes it a hard sell.

Hello Matthew,

I don't believe there is a tracking number for sorting by column dynamically in the Web UI. I've reached out to Development and will update this thread if there is a tracking number.

The best way to pursue having this feature added is to open a Support Case with the intent of it being an Request For Enhancement (RFE) / Product Commitment (PC). Once the case is open, the Account Manager can raise the issue to Development as a request to add the feature.
