Prognosis can display a tabular views of records but what if we want to graph a performance metric over a time scale.
This example is using an easy record NTCPU record, which is available in every Prognosis running on Windows, and because it is the kind of record that has performance metrics such as the % busy field.

What if we then want to just plot an average of the performance metric that takes an average of the metric in multiple rows in a record and plots just the single line as the average.
Now we know that using Prognosis we can create displays of graphical views of performance metrics over a time scale, but what if we have a lot of lines and want to just show a single line an average of them all on the graph.
Let's use the NTCPU record again where we have already plotted the % busy field for each logical processor core and then enable the Combine feature to plot a single line as an average. Once we have the average here we can then build on that in later videos.
Once we have the display the way we like it we cna 'send it to web' so that it becomes a dashboard web page in the Prognosi sWeb UI. Here's how to do that, with a couple of tips, like 'hard coding' / select the node name to simplify the web address URL to enter in to the web browser to access the page.
Once a display is created in Prognosis Client it can be converted into a dashboard web page in the Prognosis Web UI.
What if we want to see this metric for multiple nodes altogether in one graph?
Here's a short video of a way to do that by defining a node group, adding in the nodes that we want to see in the graph.
