Accessing the WEB User Interface

We have Prognosis 11.4.  I believe we have 2 methods to access Prognosis data.  Option 1  s the client portal and option 2 uses a specific web site address.  We run Prognosis today in a secured network that requires additional credentials to access it.  Is it possible for option 2 to exist on the other side of the secured network (like on the LAN)?

Re: Accessing the WEB User Interface

Hello JD,

Are you referring to 2-Factor authentication to the Prognosis web interface on the option 2 you were referring to?

Re: Accessing the WEB User Interface

It is not 2 factor authentication.  I spoke with someone who has more experience and learned of a unique web site that is behind our secured network.  I can access that server with out concern.  My question is being able to access the same Prognosis data on the other side of the secured platform.  I expect the hurdle is for me to convince our information security team that the exposure to critical data is limited.  I think it is limited, anyway.  Can there be system commands that could crash the system?

Re: Accessing the WEB User Interface

Hey Scot Clark.  What did you mean by 2 factor authentication?  Is that another layer of security that only allows specific access to specific people to the web gui?  We have a RAS soluton that people use to access our secured network.  The code changes every minute and is unique to each individual.  Is there a special device that can be used with 2 factor authentication?
