Unable to start Prognosis SFTP server service

Hello Team,

We are unable to start the "Prognosis SFTP server service " in the services on windows server .We are aslo unable to cofigure CDR/CMR on call manger. Please help us how to trouble shoot this.

Prognosis STFP Server service (irsftp.exe process) likes to listen on TCP port 22. It may fail to start if something else has already taken that port. To find out the PID of what process may have already taken the port:

netstat -ano | findstr :22

Verified , Its looking like the no process is using the port 22. Pleasee find the scrren shot for your reference and let me know how to proceed further.

We reverified and found "Freeftpdservice.exe" is allocated to TCP 22 , How can we change the port and assign it IRSftp service.

After stopping "Freeftpdservice.exe" the Prognosis SFTP Server service / irsftp.exe should be able to take port 22 and start successfully.

Also,
the only supported way is to have the Prognosis SFTP Server service listening on port 22. I have checked and verified that there is no way to change the port used by Prognosis SFTP Server service. Note also the port requirements for a Prognosis server are listed in this help article.

using Prognosis SFTP Server on port 22 has advantages anyway:
- secure with security vulnerabilities removed (shellshock, poodle, bash backdoor);
- encrypted password in Prognosis PASSWORDS config in the 'SFTP: PrognosisCDR' entry;
- supported - IR can help if something goes wrong with it.

Thank you Gerald, We did the same , we have stopped FreeFTPservice and started prognosis SFTP and it was sucessfully started.
