Telepresence Endpoints ctp password configuration

Hello all,

The customer use 2 differents http user/password for the Telepresence endpoint devices.

To get the Status in the Cisco Telepresence Central the ctp:Cluster http need to be configured.

Is there any way to configure 2 differents ctp:Cluster for the same CUCM Cluster.

Re: Telepresence Endpoints ctp password configuration

Hi @Alain,

I tested several versions of adding "ctp" password(s) to the PASSWORDS configuration.

The only working (and supported) options were to either use:

  • One ctp password for the entire cluster
  • Add passwords for each device not using the main ctp password and in this format: ctp:ClusterNameSmiley Very HappyeviceName.
  • Adding ctp passwords for each device not using the main ctp password would require adding all the ctp devices into the cluster configuration in Prognosis. (not very practical).

There is the option to create something custom for you environment specifically or for a future version of Prognosis Server. This type of request would need to start with your Account Manager.

Thank you,
Scott Baldwin
