REST API for Thresholds

Hello,

I would like to use the Rest API to start and stop the Threholds.

But I'm not sure if an XML is required and how to do the API request.

Re: REST API for Thresholds

Thanks Scott,

I'm familiar with this process but I was not aware this created the THRX.

Re: REST API for Thresholds

I found the Rest API Threshold doesn't need XML but need to use a Threshold.thrx in the following path: Drive:\Prognosis\WebUI\IIS\Documents\Thresholds

Now I need to know how to generate the file Threshold.thrx.

Re: REST API for Thresholds

Hello @Alain,

A thrx file is a Threshold file (nornally thr) published to the Prognosis Web UI.

Creating a new "thrx" file would follow this basic process:

  1. Create the Threshold in the Prognosis Platform Windows Client.
  2. Save the Threshold file to a folder somewhere in the Document Navigator (upper left window).
  3. Right click on the desired Threshold in the Document Navigator and select Send To Web...
Send Threshold to the Web UI.jpg
  4. This will populate directory drive:\Prognosis\WebUI\IIS\Documents\Thresholds with the Threshold in thrx format.

Thank you,
Scott Baldwin
