Path Insight documentation is available here:

Path Insight documentation

You can configure Syslog as a destination which is covered in Page 155 of the documentation, SNMP traps is not directly supported as destination. Prognosis can act as a local receiver of Syslog if you want to configure alerting and receive information via SNMP traps.

Re: Path inside technical documentation, how much and which snmp traps.

Path Insight provides troubleshooting and Layer 2 & 3 path visibility for your network using SNMP 'get', you can add devices to be proactively monitored and troubleshoot key interface and device issues occurring on your network. This is distinct from SNMP traps, which is not a core part of the functionality provided by Path Insight solution.

Re: Path inside technical documentation, how much and which snmp traps.

Hi Thomas,

I'm a little bit confused.

I'll use Path inside in combination with UC assessor for Skype for business, As UC assosor can only give details of latency Path inside will give me more info where the latency was. When I read the documentation I got following info:

Standard Features Prognosis Path Insight is a Windows service that uses SNMP to monitor statistics and utilization for each interface on switches, routers, and servers. If data-link errors or utilization rates rise above a settable threshold, you can use the generated web pages to help you determine the source of the network problems. This will help you to maintain a healthy network.

I can be wrong, it is the first time for me that I'll use Path inside

Thanks a lot for your help
