Path Insight Customer or Site View

Hi experts,

Does path insight offer any sort of grouping (by Customer or by Site) so that I get list of devices associated to a customer/site in one place?

Hey Shoaib,

you can group the devices by any kind of tag so I guess it would be the first step to define these groups when you either run the can or put this to the devices within the Config Tool or SwitchMonitor.cfg directly if working in a text editor is easier. If you give it names like "Switches - Denver" you can see the devices get grouped by that and the groups can be used as filters in the troubleshooting dashboards.

so where can I apply a filter? Is it a dropdown or list? What tab this would be under?

It is the Top 10 dashboard where you usually go to find systematic issues and worst bottlenecks in your environment for:

Errors, High Utilization (Unicast/Broadcast), Packetloss, Jitter, Latency

Additionally you can filter interfaces you don't want to se in there with a description based search string. And it is also possible to extend the list if 10 is not enough.
