How to increase snmp timeout so Prognosis can wait longer for Cisco device snmp query to return?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Sometimes in a slow network environment, Prognosis may need to wait longer for Cisco device snmp data to return.
You can add a timeout parameter in the CISCODEV static configuration:
1. Open CISCODEV configuration
2. Find DEFINE SNMP_PROFILE statement, and add “Timeout” parameters ( in seconds)
For example:
DEFINE SNMP_PROFILE(hawkeye, Version=2c, Timeout=120)
3. Click Start.
