We see prognosis sscp gateways discoverd from the cisco call manager. But these are showing down in prognosis . Please help me how to bring up the this gateway online status.
Does the SCCP gateway have different SNMP credentials to the CUCM cluster?
If so, you need to configure the SNMP credentials for that specific gateway using the administration page. The instructions to do so can be found in the 11.4 online help documentation (Home -> Prognosis for Unified Communications -> Cisco Unified Communications Manager -> Configuration -> Optional Configuration -> H.323 and SCCP Gateways).
Hope this helps,
Another thing you may want to look at is the gateways SNMP Agent potential ACLs.
They may be configured to only respond to specific IPs, if it's the case and your Prognosis server(s) IPs are not allowed, the gateways won't answer to the Prognosis polls even though you're polling them with the proper SNMP community string (if SVNMPv2c) or credentials (if SNMPv3).
Also, if there are firewalls in between your Prognosis server(s) and your gateways, they could be blocking the traffic (Prognosis -> Gateways on port 161/UDP).
Not sure if this is still an issue for you. In addition to the other good reccomendations from the others here, I have seen this problem resolved by having the necessary services running on the CUCM. Enable Cisco Callmanager SNMP Service on subscribers if not already started.
