Hi,
We are looking to utilize the Maximum Collaboration Edge Calls metric available within the CiscoExpresswayResourceUsage record so we can monitor peak call usage for licesning purposes on our Cisco Expressway devices. I'm trying to understand a couple thing in regards to this data.
1) Is the Maximum Edge Calls a metric derived by Expressway itself and then retrieved by Prognosis via specific HTTPS query?
or
2) Is Prognosis retrieving active call data from the Expressway via HTTPS query and then calculating the Maximum Edge Calls metric based off that data?
Just trying to understand the timeframe over which the maxium calls metric is kept before it resets or decreases.
Knowing exactly where the number is originating should help determine that.
Thanks

Hi @Timon_Dennis ,
It looks like it's option 1 - Prognosis obtains the MAXECALL value directly from the device by requesting the following URL:
http[s]://<IP>:<port>/getxml?location=/Status/ResourceUsage
It doesn't appear to be performing any calculations on that value.
Regards,
Scott
