Change Hostname - Monitoring Node

Hello Experts,

I want to change the hostname of my monitoring node to align with the new naming scheme. Can you pleas share the steps required to do it so it doesn't break the monitoring to mgmt node communication. Is there a documented procedure?

Hi Vishal,

Unfortunately your Prognosis version 11.6 may or may not fully work after a hostname change. There is no supported way to change the server hostname in that version. 

You could install Prognosis on another server and set it up to monitor the same devices.

Alternatively please contact your IR account manager  if you would like IR Professional Services team to assist implement a hostname change scope of work.
