Cannot remove a WebUI user when the user account doesn't exist anymore (either local Windows account or AD account)

Hi,

We're having a issue with the Prognosis WebUI (tested in 10.4 and 11.1, same behavior) and user removal.

If a user that was added to a WebUI security role and is deleted from either the local Windows server or Active Directory, it then cannot be deleted anymore from the WebUI.

Steps to reproduce:
1- Create a Windows local user on a WebUI Prognosis server
2- Add the newly created user to a WebUI security role
3- Delete the Windows local user account
4- Try removing the user account from the WebUI security role... Wait a bit... Not working.

user-removal-error-1.pngThe error message seem to indicate the WebUI is looking for the "test" account in the AD domain although it was a local account

3b- Create a new Windows local account with the same name
4b- Try removing the user account from the WebUI security role... Works Smiley Happy

Note that if at step 4 I try removing the security role containing that "ghost" account, it works perfectly.

In our case, our users use AD account and this AD is corporately managed, we can't have dummy accounts created.

How can we delete these "ghost" user accounts from the WebUI ?

Very interesting. I am also curious to know how to resolve the issue. I'll dig on my side too.
