Can Prognosis trigger alert for http connection down for cisco expressways?

Hello All,

We have multiple expressways, one of them is showing http connection down does the prognosis will capture the alert?

Hello @kashyap ,

The IptDeviceTh Threshold should alert for this condition if the Threshold &/or Condition is set correctly to alert.

Check the Threshold's Default Destinations tab, in the Dispatch Manager section, then the Profile Name field for the DISPMAN profile being used for email alerts.

I see you also created a support case on this. The default iptdeviceth alert will trigger accordingly on this data but you need to ensure you configure the destinations on it correctly.

Also note that any data on a display, can be also created as a custom alert if it is not also in the packaged ones, or if you want it to behave differently. Hover over the column to get the record and field names and then design your alert logic accordingly:
