Call Quality Storage Length

I am running Prognosis 11.5 and have an Avaya CM. In the finished voice streams, is it possible to increase this retention beyond 48 hours?

Re: Call Quality Storage Length

Hello Kevin,

The retention time of the AV-Voice Streams Historical Database Collection should already be set to 65 days and 60GB of disk size in Prognosis 11.5.

Is the 48 hour retention refering to the AV-Voice Streams Historical Database Collection retention time, or is this refering to the reporting limits in Displays?

If the question is about the retention time, I suspect the Monitoring Node was upgraded from a version that had the limits set much lower.

Use the following to update the AV-Voice Streams Historical Database Collection retention time to 65 days and 60GB of disk size:

  1. RDP to the Node monitoring the Avaya Communication Manager.
  2. Open the Prognosis Windows Client.
  3. In the Document Navigator (upper left window) expand the following folders: Knowledge -> IP Telephoney Manager -> Avaya -> Databases.
  4. Double click on the AV-Voice Streams Historical Database Collection file to update the running version. Click OK if the "Start Database Collection" window pops up.

If the question is about differing report intervals, a Custom Solution will be needed. To have a custom Avaya Communication Manager CDR report created, please contact the Account Manager for details.

Thank you,
