Hi,
Does the ASBCE module for Avaya allow you to set up a data base to track calls in progress per SBC so this could be mapped out to trend peak call volumes?
What are the out of the box alerts that come with this module and what records do you have access to?
Thanks

Hi Jonathan,
A default SBC-Reporting database captures call details for SBC platforms and there is an SBC-Alerts threshold. You can start these via the WebUI by checking the appropriate option if they were not added when the SBC was added. There are also some canned reports included, however they are grouped to provide QoS statistics rather than raw call volumes. It would be possible to create your own DB report that leverages the out-of-box databases however.
If you need to locate more detail on each of these functions, you can locate them by first logging into the Prognosis thick client and then navigationg to the following locations in the document navigator section of the GUI (normally in top left-hand window):
The database collection and threshold document:
Knowledge>IP Telephony Manager>SBC>Databases
Knowledge>IP Telephony Manager>SBC>Thresholds
DB replay documents are under:
Knowledge>IP Telephony Manager>SBC>Reports>Drilldowns
Hopefully this is the information you're after, but please let us know if you have further questions!
Regards,
Scott
