Prognosis 11.6 – Unified Communications Update


Prognosis 11.6 is now available.


This update delivers expanded vendor platform version support, new and improved management and performance capabilities, and improvements to call quality troubleshooting and Call Recording Assurance.


Expanded Vendor Platform Support

Continuing our commitment to support multiple unified communication (UC) vendors, the Prognosis 11.6 release supports new UC platform versions from Cisco, Avaya, and Microsoft, specifically:

  • Cisco CUCM 12.5.
  • Avaya Aura 8.
  • Skype for Business Server 2019.


Improved Management and Performance

11.6 provides new management and deployment capabilities to improve UC operations efficiency and lower cost:

  • New: High Availability Manual Switchover streamlines the Prognosis server maintenance and upgrades. ​
  • New: Advanced Reporting self-monitoring enables proactive visibility and notification of data collection issues to minimize reporting data gaps. ​
  • Improved: Service Provider customer provisioning for Skype for Business streamlines customer onboarding. ​


Call Recording Assurance Improvements

  • Expanded support for Verint pre-defined organizations and departments helps streamline server deployment footprint and complexity. ​
  • Expanded call recording media lifecycle visibility now follows the recording through the entire lifecycle from the recorders to the archive storage. ​
